Styles From Beyond
Styles From Beyond (SFB) was established in 2001 showing talent in various facets in
the entertainment scene namely Hiphop, Breakdance, Krumping, MTV dance, Newstyle
Hiphop and Popping.
SFB has participated in competitions both local and international as well as TV shows
competition (specifically The Dancefloor, organised by Mediacorp) and has bagged
alot of championship and Top 3 spots. SFB represented Singapore
in international dance competitions held in Malaysia and Taiwan
for the Asia Pacific championships and won as champions in 2006 2nd Malaysian Open Line
Dance & Hip Hop Championship (Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia) and Dance Fantasia (Dance
Fantasia, Taiwan). SFB also clinched the 1st Runner Up position in the Asian Pacific
Dance Competition 2007
(Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia).
SFB provides services in showcasing at various events for companies, commercials,
product launches, celebrations and more. To further reach out to the public, SFB
teaches, provides choreography and dance routines for school students and groups for
showcases/competitions. Some of the groups manage to clinched top prizes in the
competition they took part.
SFB managed to develop and instill the love of dance into the hearts of the young ones.
Aside from dancing, SFB also provides other arts and media services which comprises
of audio and video editing, music mixing, dance classes and workshops, and also designing works
such as for posters, banners, flyers and t-shirts.
SFB’s main objective is to create a refreshing, enjoying and entertaining atmosphere,
and to always ensure that every event is worth being remembered by all of their target audience.
